Md. Mustafizur Rahman, FCA,Chairman
Md. Mustafizur Rahman FCA is a member of the Board of Directors of Aviva Finance Limited as the Nominated Director from S. Alam Super Edible Oil Limited since December ‘14. He is also the Chairman of Audit Committee and member of Executive Committee. Mr. Rahman is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB). He has been the managing partner of Rahman Mostafa Alam & Co., A well renowned Chartered Accountancy Firms since 1986 which is one of the top ranked CA firm as approved by Bangladesh Bank and Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC). He also served as Accountant Member in NBR from 1992-95. He is serving Board Director of Aviva Brokerage Services Limited, served as Board Director of Dhaka Electric Supply Co. Ltd. (DESCO), Audit Committee Chair, Board Member of Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB) and Member of different committees time to time in Rajdhani Unnayan Kartipakhkha (RAJUK). Mr. Rahman has extensive experience in auditing, taxation, advisory, due diligence, etc. in various industry sectors. Mr. Rahman dealt with Corporation, Autonomous Bodies, Bank and Insurance Companies, Public Listed Companies, NGO and Non Trading Organization as an auditor. He served ICAB as Council Member from 2001-2009 and also served as Vice President 2002-2003 & 2009, Chairman & Committee Member of 10 (Ten) Committees, Lecturer, Head Examiner, Question Setter, Script Examiner, Moderator of ICAB & Paper Presenter of ICAB & ICMAB. He Joined Rotary Movement in 1984 as Chartered Honorary Secretary of Rotary Club of Metropolitan Chittagong and served as President 1992-1993. He also served as District Treasurer, Deputy Chief Secretary, GSA and Deputy District Governor of the Rotary District in Bangladesh & Chairman of DTTS & District Assembly of the District in 2011-12, presently member of Rotary Club of Dhaka South. He is a Permanent Member of Chittagong club Ltd., Life Member of Feni Samity Dhaka & Chattogram and also served as Vice President of Dhaka Feni Samity. He was a Founder and President of a Primary School and Established a Mosque (in his own village) and One of the Founders of Dhaka Public College.
